Building a First Nations Tech Talent Pipeline through the Deadly Coders Academy
By Deadly Coders, Baidam, Commonwealth Bank, Cyconsol and ANZ
Deadly Coders Academy is a technology training and employment pathway designed to address the underrepresentation of First Nations people in the tech sector. Following a successful pilot with ANZ, where students progressed into internships and employment, the program has helped spark a broader national conversation about alternative pathways into technology careers. Building on this momentum, the Academy is now being expanded nationally with partners including Baidam, Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Cyconsol, creating a scalable model that connects training directly to real employment opportunities.
