On March 30, 2023, Parliament passed the Workplace Gender Equality Amendment (Closing the Gender Pay Gap) Bill 2023. In conjunction with the revamped Legislative Instruments, which came into effect on February 6, 2023, these legislative reforms represent a significant leap forward in expediting employer initiatives aimed at closing the gender pay gap.
