Tech for Good – Accessibility & Inclusivity
Merit Recipient

40 startups addressing tech for inclusion have received investment, creating an ecosystem of support for founders with and without disability as they grow their businesses. Those startups have helped to create over 480 FTE jobs, raised over $28M in investment and commercialisation capital and most importantly, served over 120,000 customers.

In September 2021 we launched a global network called “+N inclusive innovation network” – a community of innovators, accelerators and investors dedicated to growing the impact of technology on disability inclusion. We believe that technology and entrepreneurship have important roles to play in ending the exclusion of those of us with disabilities. Since launching there are over 160 organisations who have joined and signed our inclusion manifesto.

In the last 5 years we’ve seen 338 prototypes developed through our Design-athons, to try to solve challenges identified by the disability community.

Our mission is to connect a global ecosystem of partners who shape future technologies that lower barriers to disability inclusion. We do this by facilitating interactions and cooperation between users, innovators and entrepreneurs, capital and expertise.
