2024 Virtual Engineers Summit
Code Like a Girl’s Virtual Engineers Summit is a digital campaign reimagining the tech careers fair for women and nonbinary people. Set in a lovingly crafted virtual world, every pixel and pool floatie was designed to spark joy, connection, and belonging. Attendees created avatars, explored interactive booths, discovered Easter eggs, and met professionals from TikTok, GitHub, Xero and more. With 200+ attendees and a 38,000+ social reach, the Summit broke geographic and financial barriers, supporting women of colour, LGBTQIA+ folks, career changers, and non-traditional talent to see themselves in tech.
