Creating Early Pathways into AI through Minecraft Education By Deadly Coders and Microsoft Australia

Deadly Coders partnered with Microsoft to deliver a national AI literacy program to over 5,000 primary school students using Minecraft Education. The program introduced foundational AI concepts through a platform students already know, making complex ideas accessible and engaging. Delivered across metropolitan, regional and remote schools, it reduced barriers to participation while supporting teachers through structured content and volunteer involvement. The program built early confidence in emerging technologies and created a clear pathway from first exposure to future digital skills.
