Fire and Wattle: Cultural Competency that Closes the Digital Divide By Fire and Wattle, The EdTech Group and Deadly Coders

Fire and Wattle is an Indigenous-owned social enterprise delivering online cultural competency training to corporate Australia. Launched in 2025, the platform helps organisations build culturally safe environments for First Nations employees, customers, and learners. In its first twelve months, Fire and Wattle has partnered with Microsoft, Honeywell, LifeFlight, Q Shelter, ComTech Training, and a growing network of RTOs meeting new ASQA cultural safety requirements. A percentage of profits is reinvested into Deadly Coders, an Indigenous charity closing the digital divide — turning corporate learning into community impact.
